Speed Cubers Documentary

The Speed Cubers is a documentary on Netflix about competitive Rubik's Cube competitions and champions Max Park and Feliks Zemdegs. It shares their journey and friendship as well as what it means to experience the highs of winning and the challenges of losing.

Watching this movie reminded me of the brilliance of a former student who grew in his love of Rubik's Cube as well as chess. I never beat this former student in a game of chess, and this student said to me, Jay, you should never play an autist at chess. Little did they know, I don't always play chess to win, but when I do it's a rare moment!
