We love hearing when a heartwarming, down-to-earth response comes from an unlikely place, especially when it brings attention to the importance of kindness and empathy. This week, in response to an eleven-year-old, down-syndrome girl being bullied, the president of North Macedonia walked the girl to school with her family in tow, in an effort to bring awareness to the challenges associated with bullying and school culture, especially around students who are differently-abled. Obviously this is not an Autism student, but we liked the response of North Macedonia's leader and how it engages the society of this smaller country.
